Finding an AC that works with horizontal sliding windows has been somewhat of a headache, but this one works very well to cool my space down now that the weather is getting hotter here in CA. The 115-volt setup is convenient because I didn't need any special wiring, and the unit runs surprisingly quietly for how powerful it is. It also comes with a remote and digital controls, which makes adjusting the settings super easy from across the room

I needed extra help since my windows sit higher and it needed a support bracket on the back. In my opinion, This definitely is not a single person install. However, it's straight forward for usage. The remote is a nice touch so I can change it without having to manually do it on the device. I Like the 4 way directional control so I dont have it blowing directly on me and more where I want it to go. It has an energy saving option which I definitely plan on utilizing. I also like that the filter is washable. For what time I've used it, it was quick to cool the room down. Seems like a nice unit.

It cools my 1-bedroom (about 350 sq ft) super quickly and keeps it comfortable even on the hottest days. The digital controls are easy to use, and I like being able to set a specific temperature instead of just guessing. Install was easy—I had it in the window and sealed with the included side panels and foam in under 30 minutes. It fits snugly and doesn't shake or rattle like cheaper ones I've tried in the past. It's not whisper quiet, but it's not loud either. It's just a steady hum that actually kind of blends into the background after a while. I can still sleep and watch TV just fine. All in all, very happy with this purchase. Solid value for the price, and it does exactly what it promises.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Often Pollo does not need help being cool. I am a natural cool. But when it gets to be 115 degrees Fahrenheit, Pollo needs some help! Apparently, so does the Earth! I hear it is having a global warming problem. Good thing this A/C blows cold air like a midnight bison! While it was not the easiest to install since the instructions did not like to reveal their deepest secrets to Pollo and his friends. This A/C does now work very well. It is quite loud, but that is okay. Pollo needs noise to drown out the wails of his regrets rattling in his head!

I have had a portable ac unit in our bedroom since our sc broke about 2 years ago and we have kept it to aid with the house system since it gets so dang hot in Florida! This unit absolutely exceeds my expectations tho! It keeps my entire upstairs much cooler and I know it is giving my whole house ac unit a huge break since I like in 2 stories! I couldn't be happier with this!
