Musselman's Unsweetened Applesauce, 46oz Jar

I love Musselman's applesauce. I usually purchase the cinnamon flavor. That being said, why can't I find it in my local Walmart for the last few months, finally I found the plain flavor and was able to order it here. What's the problem???? I gave it 5 stars for the taste, but I'd give it negative stars for product availability!

This is my favorite unsweetened applesauce. I cleanse my palate first with a few walnuts. The contrast causes the GV applesauce to taste naturally sweet -- almost like a dessert in some cases. Not every jar is that sweet. They range from tasting slightly sweet with the perfect tartness, up to tasting very naturally sweet. I prefer this over the national brands. The GV is also better than the ones I've tasted from Lidl and Aldi

I prefer Unsweetened Applesauce; but, this is the worst unsweetened applesauce I have ever tasted! It's watered down with a metallic, zero apple taste.

Bought this as my usual choice applesauce was not in stock and - lo and behold! - it was a great option. Musselman's unsweetened applesauce still tastes very sweet and is a nice, refreshing and healthy dessert, rather than ice cream, etc. The entire family went for it! I served it with cinnamon sprinkled on top with a very light touch of nutmeg and it was goooood! Will buy again.

Product was frozen and seal was broken. Was not able to eat it. Notified WalMart and have not heard from them. I do not blame the store but you wanted my rating and because we could not use this product, I could not give it a good rating.
