Seeking help with this product. I can only use Non-Permanent hair color. The last two times of coloring my hair I have used this product. This is not fading in 28 washing's. 2 to 3 months later I am getting the permanent look of the color wearing off....the grey showing at the roots. With my other brand of non-permanent hair coloring the color would fade graduality so that it seems that I was slowly graying. Now, it looks like I have used Permanent. Any help on getting this color off? Like the color but do not like the grey roots instead of fading color. HELP Please!!
I can honestly say I LOVE this hair color. The first time I dyed my hair I used the 3RR black currant. Loved it, but I felt like maybe I could go lighter. So then I tried Sweet cherry. I've now used sweet cherry twice and black currant once. Lasts forever, gives me an excellent red. I never fail to get compliments! :)
I have naturally dark blond/light brown hair (about level 6, maybe even 5) and I get my highlights done every 6-8 weeks. If my hair grows a little faster, or my highlights fade, that natural root growth looks pretty harsh against my level 8/9 color treated hair. I use the Loreal Creme Gloss 8.5 to touch up and prolong my visits to the salon. I don't know how, but my roots DO NOT come up orange. My roots are lightened, but my overall color fairly well maintained. I used the 7 once, and it was too dark. The 8.5 is harder to find, but great for light blondes to maintain coloring. VERY HAPPY with the results. Hair looks refreshed and feels great.
This color was horrifying! I've used "Medium Golden Brown" SEVERAL TIMES in L'Oreal Superior Preference and it turned out GREAT! However, this Medium Golden Brown wasn't good at all. It didn't do anything. If anything, it only turned orange! It's not ugly, but it's not good either. I do not suggest this color to anyone! I've used other colors in "Healthy Look," but this one by far, I wouldn't suggest to anyone.
Previously, I had used Clairol Natural Instincts Dark Bronze Brown. I absolutely loved it! I decided to give this brand a try as it was on sale at my local Walgreens. I was also looking to go a bit darker; my hair is medium-dark (?) brown that looks reddish in the sunlight. Hope that gives a bit of a reference. First off, the smell was different from the Natural Instincts. It smelled more chemically. The processing was fine, but I noticed my hair felt like straw! I've never had that happen before! It actually felt like that for the first two weeks. The color was alright, but I noticed the Natural Instincts was just better overall. That color had more definition in it; this was kind of flat dark brown. Also, I noticed the packaging just didn't show how the color actually looks. It looks fake and computerized on the box. This just wasn't my cup of tea. Sorry L'oreal unless you amp up the shades for dark brown, I'll be sticking with my Clairol.
