Quaker Grits, 5LB (Pack of 8)

I usually purchase the grits on the left (in the round box). My store didn't have them and I bought the package on the right. The cooking instructions are the same but the texture is so different. Should I use different cooking for the ones I just bought? I don't even like the gritter texture from the paper package. May throw them out.

You can cook Quaker grits longer or with more water, but this stuff remains as gritty as sand. ... well almost. It's bad. It is not the quality from the past. I will stop buying Quaker products. //. I did not read the product reviews before buying because I was already a long time customer. However, I deliberately read the other reviews today after having the same bad quality over the past year. I wanted to see if anyone else had the same bad experience with Quaker.

Why are the grits so grainy? They look and taste like the corncob has been ground with it all. And also, they are not white and creamy like they used to be.

I have eaten your grits for years but the last 2 bags I brought are just horrible. Did you change how you make it. It's grainy, not creamy anymore. I'll be switching to a different brand.

the grits have recently changed over the last few weeks the texture is not the same the whole composition of adding water and heavy cream and butter is totally off and not where it has been I've been using this for quite a while now and recently things are very different what did you guys do please change it back immediately y'all have messed it up real bad
