[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids like all things Stranger Things and had been asking for a D&D set so I figured this Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons would be perfect. This is a complete starter set with a story planned out by Mike from Stranger Things. My boys are new to D&D so it took a little bit for them to figure it out and this may not have been the best 1st set for them. Once they got the hang of it they loved it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This starter set has everything you need to run a simple easy campaign. All you need are a few friends, and you're ready to go. The set comes with a campaign outline, five character sheets (no, you don't have to make up your own and roll for stats), a rule book, and two figures - one painted, one you can customize if you so choose. I like that the characters are already made, because it makes it a lot quicker to be able to get to playing and a lot easier to introduce someone to the basic mechanics of the game for the first time. This isn't meant to be a super in depth campaign you get together to play for several weeks. You can play it in one night. Maybe experienced D&D players might not be so keen on this setup, but the set is exactly what it claims to be: a starter set and introduction to the world of D&D. The connection to the show is fun and nostalgic. Stranger Things is one show my friends and I have actually all watched, so it's great to be able to bond with them over this game. We had a great time assuming the personas of the show's characters for this. I think this set is a great way to get new players started in the D&D world with just the right amount of hand-holding to speed things up. The Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons set will give you a taste of the type of game play you can expect in a more in depth campaign. It's a really solid starter set for any beginners.

They are huge fans of the Stranger Things show and thought it was soo cool to feel like they were apart of the show by playing the game that the characters play! They game has amazing details on the game board and was fun for the whole family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a week ago for our family game night and we love it! We are such big fans of Stranger Things so it worth the buy! It comes with two Demogorgon figures one painted and one not. They are a bendable plastic and not flimsy. It also comes with a rulebook, 5 Stranger Things character sheets and six dice. The adventure book is written by Mike Wheeler to take you on a journey through the Upside Down. It is so much fun with my family of four to roleplay through out the game. Such a fun adventure for the kids and they just love it! Excellent starter pack to get you involved with the Dungeons and dragons sets! I would definitely recommend trying it out. So,so much fun!
