b.tan Glow Your Own Way Clear Self Tan Gel enriched with hyaluronic acid + vitamin c, no rinse required

I wanted to like it. I gave it quite a few tries and I just don't care for it. It's easy to apply and initially it's an even application. But it wears off incredibly patchy, and fast. It doesn't not stay on my lower legs for some reason? Even though I will double layer it, there's no tan. The color is decent, it's not orangey for me.

So far. So good. It's a gel consistency and does take a few minutes to dry. I've been applying with my hands, which I wash twice during the process. The color is good. It's a nice, natural-esque bronze. My skin feels hydrated. The coverage is good. I've experienced streaking before (with a different product) using a mitt, so that's why I've opted for hands this time. I haven't gotten any discoloration or staining, even when putting on clothes before it's completely dried. I like it a lot.

This is AWFUL!!! Please don't waste your money— yes, I know and all the prep steps for a good self tan. I did them. I put a decent layer of this on, let it dry, and slept through the night. The next morning didn't look like anything had changed so I reapplied the next night and woke up to a decent tan, but it started getting patchy and coming off THE NEXT DAY. I gave it one star because zero wasn't an option, and also because this does do a really good job of moisturizing. Other than that, it's a waste of money. I'll be sticking with my trusty ‘b.tan tanned af'.

I love the tan this product achieves however, I have found with different orders that the quality control is very inconsistent. Some batches don't apply evenly and you're left with weird patchy areas. Another negative is the smell of the gel, it is overpowering and lingers. Finally it is not an apply and go product...first off to avoid any product wear off you'll have to allow dry time for a minimum of a half an hour and if left on too long (more than 3-4 hours) the outcome of the tan is unnaturally dark as well as, it does leave a weird stickyish/moist residue. If I didn't love the color this product delivers and that you are more than likely to get a good batch when you order I wouldn't continue to use this gel. It's a beautiful tan most of the time and I've just learned how to schedule my time when it's time to apply! 3 stars given due to the inconsistency and smell otherwise it'd be 5 stars for sure!
