My baby loves it. Very entertaining and comfortable for him.

The first swing we had was the Fisher Price Zen Collection swing. It was handed down to me from my sister-in-law. The Zen swing is pretty to look at for adults but offered little entertainment for my daughter. We used that swing for 2 1/2 months before deciding it was time for a swing that provides something for her to look at since she now needs visual stimulation in addition to swinging to keep her occupied. Enter Fisher Price Animal Cracker Swing. Pros: The seat is deep and cradle like. It's frame is smaller than the Zen swing. It's cute and entertaining. It's fast. Even on level 1 it's like level 11 on the Zen. It's swinging is smooth. It plugs in! It takes batteries too. It swings 2 ways side to side and head to toe. The music is soothing it also has nature sounds. The mobile moves in a circular motion and the light in the middle changes colors. The mobile swings out of the way to remove baby from the swing. Has 2 seat positions. Cons: The 5 point restraint is a little much. Because the seat is deep I don't think 5 point restraint is needed. The 5 point restrain is also a little bulky and since we aren't using it right now I have to put a blanket over it to make sure it isn't uncomfortable. However the restraints can be removed. The fabric is pretty light in color which is slightly concerning because of spit up and such I hope it doesn't stain, if it does it may look pretty dingy after awhile. Because toys hang from the mobile when you lift it out of the way the toys hit the control panel making a lot of noise, and will wake your sleeping baby. While this is advertised as a cradle swing I think the seat it more of a bucket seat than a cradle, but the bucket seat works out better for us because my daughter is three months old and our other swing was kind of a shallow cradle which allowed her to wiggle south easier. You cannot beat this price, you also get a lot of features for your money!! Highly Recommend!!

When I first purchased this swing I was a little remorseful when I realized there is no tray for snacks or bottles. Being a first time mom, I didn't realize how much that wouldn't matter. By the time they are old enough to manage snacks and bottles, they want to sit in a highchair or lap to eat. My son LOVED this swing from the day we bought it. He was about a week old, and the cradle seat is so deep and snug we didn't even have to use the harness right away. (Disclaimer: always use the safety harness when in use. We started when he was about 3 months and starting to arch his back). By the way, I love the harness, it's very user friendly, not too hard to click, and lighweight for the newest of babies. The music is so beautiful, I love to have him in the swing asleep and listen while doing dishes or using my computer. He loves the music too. He is equally happy with the nauture sounds mode, and there is a great volume control from whisper quiet to loud enough to drown out the TV. It also plays long enough for him to fall asleep, where some of his crib mobiles, I have to restart before he is out. The cradle/seat converts easily from side to side motion, to forward and backward, and has a speed control button. Sometimes if he's really tired and still fussy after about 3-5 minutes, I twist the cradle seat (with him in it-no need to stop and remove...nice!) and he goes out like a light. I love that you can raise the mobile to have easier access...he loves looking at the mobile and has started screaming at it and laughing. I think it's because he finally knows it's there and is beginning to see different colors. It seems that the swing is adapting along with his development. Recently a friend watched him for us and we took the swing since it was his first time to a "sitter". Our friend (a mother of 1 with a new one on the way) fell in love with this swing and loves that it plugs in so no rapid draining of expensive batteries. Enjoy this swing and feel very comfortable with your purchase. You will NOT regret it. I'll be sad when he finally outgrows it.

My baby absolutely loves this swing. The music seems to either put her to sleep or calm her down. The nature sounds feature is also nice. The mobile keeps her attention and she loves that the lights change on the mobile. The swing colors aren't too crazy, so it fits in nicely in our house. I like that I can just plug the swing into the wall and not have to worry with batteries. I know it takes batteries if needed, but we have never used them. I have absolutely no complaints and because I love this swing so much, I will continue to buy Fisher Price products.
