[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been literally using these drops for DECADES. I keep a bottle in the fridge and use it pretty much everyday and often a couple times. Keeps my eyes from getting itchy, burning, and sticky. Not to mention puffy and sore. It even helps with overall allergies a bit since it as antihistamine in it. Amazing product. I freak if I run out. And keep a bottle in my car too. And at work.

Was hesitant to try after reading some of the posts regarding pupil dilation and increased redness, but experienced no negative reactions. I wear contacts so after removing them before bed I put a couple drops in each eye. The results in the morning were that my eyes were a little dry but there was nowhere near the gooky discharge I'd been experiencing. I put two more drops in each eye and waited a while before inserting my lenses. Vision was clear all day and even into the evening, no blurriness, very little itching and the gook from my allergies was gone. Same process the second day and in the am my eyes were very dry, but cleared up after a while, so I figure with any antihistamine, dryness of some sort is to be experienced. Very mild and most importantly no discharge from eyes due to allerigies and nice, clear vision all day and night!

I have chronic dry eyes and lately I just wasn't getting the relief I needed with moisturizing eyedrops. I tend to get seasonal allergies and decided to try Visine-A. I was amazed, it was uncomfortable for a moment but I'm used of that because of my dry eyes and then had relief for hours. Thank you. This will be a must have in my purse. ~Susan

Eliminated the itch but burned something fierce. Made my vision blurry. I rinsed for about three minutes with water before a cooling finaly set in and I felt like I had rinsed all the Visine out. This is weird because I use other Visine products without issue.

With allergy season around and having multiple pets, my eyes often become red and bloodshot. While using Visine, the redness goes away instantly after application. However, I'm not sure whether its supposed to give a burning effect. This is my first time using eye drops but when I put it inside my eye to close them, it starts burning a lot and I might just be allergic to it. I'd just be wary of whether you're allergic or not to it. But overall I like to use it to help my redness.
