Got this so that our newborn girl could stay in our room for a while and it works for what we need. I purchased two different brands of play yard sheets for it and they both fit perfectly. Our daughter sleeps in the basinet for now and once she outgrows it will move to her crib. We intend to take the yard on a weekend out of town so that she won't have to sleep in a hotel crib. The yard rolls easily so that it can be moved to another room if needed and it fits through most doorways. The basinet is sturdy and firm. We don't change her on the changing table, but it would serve its purpose if we did. Instead we use it as a catch all for burp rags, pacifier, wipes, etc. I even put a tap light in the changing table area that I can turn on if she wakes during the night. It works perfect as the fabric from the changing area filters the light so that it is not too bright in her eyes.
Excellent portable bed.
Very happy with the easy setup and the colors were really nice. Baby slept just fine in it. The mobile is kind of useless but other than that everything is great.
easy to set up and take down as long as you do the steps in order. although one of the tabs to hook up the bassinet has already half torn off and it's barely gotten any use...
I just got the playard this weekend and haven't actually had a chance to use it yet since I'm not due until may. The product is gorgeous and easy to setup. I like that it includes some of the same features of the higher priced products in its category. However, It does seem that it may be a little less durable. I was concerned that the "bassinet" part of the playard would not be sturdy enough to hold my new little man because it fastened to the sides with velcro and plastic clips. I did try it out with my miniature dachsaund who ways about 12 lbs. It held up pretty well, it moves a lot if your baby is squirmy. I had little faith in the diaper changer as it looks pretty flimsy, but it is pretty strong too and looks like it will do well also. The only thing I'm really not satisfied with is the Mobile. The horsies are a little dull looking and they only move if you spin the mobile. If you give it a good spin you MIGHT get one circle. No big deal though; you can always add a different mobile.
