This is a small improvement over the original pack n play because the increased amount of side panel, helps to reduce the outside disturbance when baby falls asleep. In the full netting unit, every time he'd open his eyes, he'd immediately see something of interest and want to get out.

Very easy to set up and take down. My 12 year old set it up.

I bought this for a babysitting kid, and it meets all my needs. not frills, simply a basic playpen. folds easily. cute design as far as ugly playpen designs go.

This is a great pack n play overall. Only thing that I bought this when my daughter was 21 months old and she could climb out of it! So I would recommend for age 18 months and younger!

The playpen itself is fine and meets expectations for use once it's set up. It's unbelievably hard to set up, however, which would make me not recommend it at all. I'm a new grandmother and as a mom of 2 have assembled many things over the yrs., things much more complicated than this should have been. This should be simple and intuitive, but it wasn't at all and I still don't know how we finally got it set up. The other grandmother, a mom of 3, came over and she and I still couldn't do it together. I had read the instructions several times and she read them too and I had to call another person, and he also read the instructions, and it still took the 3 of us several minutes. It belongs to the parents and they rarely use it because it's so hard to set up and it always takes 2 of them together to do it, which is ridiculous and impractical. The way we finally got it to set up was to undo the 2 sides that had clicked into place easily and then for some reason we were then able to set all 4 sides in place fairly easily after that, although that last step hadn't worked numerous times previously, tried by 3 of us numerous times both by ourselves and working together to attempt it. I wouldn't recommend this playpen to anyone for the difficulty of setting it up and it would make me not want to buy anything in the Cosco brand line.
