Ryan’s Mystery Playdate Surprise Door, Figure and Accessory, Kids Toys for Ages 3 Up, Gifts and Presents

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are big fans of Ryan so when they received this toy they were super excited to play with it. They had so much fun playing with this mystery playdate surprise door. The only thing is that sometimes when you spin it it gets stuck and and the door doesn't wants to open so you have to push it so many times until it gets unstuck other than that i recommend it for all the Ryan fans because they have so much fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old son had seen the show only a few times and still was super excited when he opened this up! Packaging was secure & sturdy and the toy itself looked bright and appealing. We opened the package and removed the "Surprise Door" along with the character figures. The idea is, that you push the button on top of the door and it rotates the door to reveal something with each rotation. You can insert character coins in a slot on one side, but it took myself and my husband to figure out that there was a printed paper taped on 2 areas of the rotating inner door that didn't belong there. The print on the paper blended with the rest of it. If it weren't for my husband noticing that it was flimsy, we never would have known to take it off, revealing little stands where the characters snap in and rotate with the door. For younger children or for hardcore Ryan fans, this may be a fun toy but unfortunately for my 4 year old, after a few spins he was no longer interested. He was a bit more interested in just playing with the characters on their own. Overall, our experience would have been better if it came with some sort of instruction sheet to remove the paper (or even just a picture) and if the toy had more features in general. I would assume that other toys in this line are probably also not worth the higher price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this toy and had my 4 year old play with. She had no interest in it. I didn't understand the purpose of the toy. No excitement for it. Just kind of blah. No instructions came with the toy. The round tokens were hard to get off the spinner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a toy I got to for my kid 2 weeks ago. The Ryan's mystery play date surprise door looks very appealing to the eye from the beginning since the colors of the toy and packaging are very bright which it looks great. Trying to get all the figures out of the packaging was painful, is just too much security for a toy, I had to use scissors to cut every single figure in 3 different spots, plus cut the glue looking thing and tape, this will definitely be a challenge for a person with arthritis and no way a kid could do it considering is for kids starting at 3 years old. (I attached a picture to show this) The packaging states that this toy is just like in Ryan's show, well we've never seen it so it was kinda confusing to understand what this toy is about, after giving it to my kid we started playing with it and understanding what was about and I think we got it, my kid enjoys playing with it, don't really think he actually got what was for because after 10 minutes he was only playing with the figures and not the other part were you need to push a button to find who will be your play date character. He keeps telling me he loves it so I will say is still a fun toy to play with in my kid opinion. Overall I think to fully understand this toy you need to watch the show and do some more research so you have the tools to explain your kid what to and how to play with it.

It has become one of the favorites in my house... My kids have invented all sorts of games with this. They have been playing for hours with it.
