Eddie Bauer Women's Cirruslite Down Jacket

Love the color (Aubergine). The fit is nice and snug, if looking to later, size up. The sleeves are too short, and I wouldn't consider that to be a usual problem for me. Surprised by how many feathers come through seams during normal wear. Any little liquid seems to stain. Probably would not buy if wasn't on major sale.

It's a little bit snug across the chest compared to the rest of the jacket, but works OK. I'm kind of broad shouldered. I always order the tall so I get an extra inch or two for my arms and length. I use this jacket for winter everyday wear as well as travel. I take it along with some lightweight gloves, a headband, and a rain jacket. Then I'm ready for all weather.

I purchased the same coat 5 years ago. First Ascent, I only had the new coat 2 weeks and the sleeve snagged so bad it looks like elastic is around the sleeve. . The quality is not the same as my first coat. Ive been buying coats from Eddie bauer for 20 years. Just not the same. The quality of the material has declined. Sorry to say

This is my second EB jacket like this. I don't like the big EB logo pressed on the sleeve. Couldn't you at least do it in the color of the jacket so it's less noticeable. After wearing this one several times, I'm losing little feathers. This has not happened with my older jacket. I guess even EB quality has gone down. Glad I bought it on sale!

Last year I ordered the same jacket in gray but in Large (Tall). It fits snuggly. I can zip it but it is tight across my hips. I am pretty consistently a Large at EB. So this was surprising. This year I ordered the green in XLT and it is perfect! I love the color and receive many compliments when I wear it. I live in Minnesota where it is the perfect weight and warmth for most of the winter season.
