Featuring a 80-gallon (10.72 cubic feet) capacity, the Lifetime compost tumbler is the perfect addition to your backyard. The ingenious tumbler design easily turns on its axis for balance rotation, and the internal aeration bar mixes compost and provides air flow. Constructed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the compost tumbler is durable, UV-protected, and has dark, double-wall panels to absorb and retain heat. For added convenience, it has an extra large removable lid and a spring-loaded pin that locks rotation during filling. The composter is black with a galvanized steel base, and comes in 1 box, with a how to compost DVD included. Easy assembly with all hardware included.

For years I pitch forked my way to have good compost Got one model 60036 and no more back ache. works fast. may be replacing the compost piles with this product. looks good also. Cons; Not draining and does get heavy to turn. I read all the reviews before I bought and I'm not disappointed.

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. great product the only thing i found that needs to be improved upon is the plastic rod in the middle for airation. it bends and plugs up. i will modify this on the other 2 i have ordered before i put them together. overall great composter. the weight of the compost makes it a little hard to turn but that is to be expected. i like it very much and would recomend it to my friends.

Pros:"Easy to use","No bad smells","Works fast" Best Uses:"Compost" Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. We like this so much but couldn't find another like it until I finally found this web site. The size is good, not too big or too small. It's easy to fill and by putting it up on cement blocks, it's easy to empty into the wheelbarrow. Much more convenient than the ones I have to mix with pitch forks.

Pros:"Decomposes very quickly" Cons:"Odor due to wet compost","Tumbler fills with water" Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. It makes a lot of compost quickly, the only problem I have is it fills with water every time it rains and drains so slowly it creates a foul odor.

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friendNearly idiot proof instructions. Really nice design. Came in a relatively small box considering how large the thing is assembled. After reading several reviews I decided to get a galvanized pipe instead of using the PVC that comes with it... I figured the predrilled holes for ventilation were just kind of random...they were not. The holes on each end at least need to be spaced correctly. The parts are designed to fit together very well and you do not have to worry if you have pieces backward or are drilling the wrong end etc. Very well done. [...] I have not actually made compost with it yet since I just put it together yesterday but I like it it is large and has a decent opening for adding and removing stuff.
