Full backed up by Apple, all you have to do its get your sim card from sprint (which is free), add or swap it in your account and enjoy!!
I bought the gold iPhone 6 as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I have to admit, I was a little nervous about it after reading the reviews on here. I decided to purchase it anyway and deal with whatever is thrown at us. Well, it was awesome! The phone looks brand new, comes in the sealed box, just like if it was brand new. I knew it did not have a SIM card so I called the local Sprint stores and they had one. I also called Sprint to check the MEID #, some of the reviews said that there were phones that were still activated. Well, Walmart must have gotten that problem fixed because the phone I bought, the MEID was clear. The day after Christmas, we walked into the Sprint store, they put in a SIM card, switched all her stuff from her 5c to the 6 with no issues. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes! I absolutely would recommend this product.
Took the phone to Sprint and it was up and running in about 10 mins. No issues.
Received my iphone in new condition and could not tell from the new one I purchased directly from Apple. I was able to activate it on my Sprint account without any other issues. The reviews are for Walmart, not the iphone so it appears as if there is a problem with the iphones themselves when in fact it's an issue with the iphones that walmart has had returned Activation Locked or with problems that weren't resolved by the company that refurbishes them. Buy one and try it out. If it doesn't work, you can always return it. I had no issues with mine.
The phone arrived and looked like brand new, but Sprint told me it's still linked to another Sprint customer's account, so I can NEITHER activate it under my name to use on Sprint network NOR request a sim unlock to use it on other networks. It's just a $528 piece of paper weight, going back to Walmart. Total waste of time and energy!
