Delivery of order was good and it took longer than i expected. The boxing to the item was good only to find out a part was missing from the handle. This missing part cost me another $64 to order else where. I opted to get a partial refund rather than returning the item.

It is a great unit and vacuums efficiently. If it would be better if electric start as it is sometimes difficult to pull the cord. A major flaw is in the collection bag. It closes with eyelets with no issue. The problem is, once the unit starts, the leaves blow out both sides. To alleviate this problem is that I put a steel spring clip on both sides of the bag. I show clip on the bag with it out but I also enclosed bag inside but the power of engine still blows out leaves.

The item was delivered in excellent condition (unlike other stores, that shall remain nameless). The vacuum was all intact, with no items missing. My husband has used it several times and is very happy.

Can't return item . Although there is a return option . This option only gives you ground shipping by fededex. So you create a label fedex comes and tell you they can't pick it up as it has to be shipped by freight. So you call customer service and they have no clue what needs to be done. At the end you find out that you will be responsible for freight shipping fee and restocking fee which adds up to almost the price of the item. Nightmare. As for the machine itself it's ok for small size flat backyard. It does the job. Just didn't work fo me

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I'm happy with the purchase. Build quality is excellent. The unit is easy to start and fairly easy to operate. I needed it primarily for picking up pine/fir cones. The unit works best on level/even ground but if pulled backward over rough terrain it seems to pick up most of the cones. Some cones were too large and/or too heavy even on even terrain and that was with the height setting close to the lawn. Definitely better than raking 100's of square feet to gather the cones. The catcher bag is very sturdy and easy to empty. I eventually got used to placing the bag on the unit (it was a bit difficult to connect the bag begin with). I am please I went with the self propelled option, we have nicknamed this unit "The Beast" due to it's size and db. I used the chiller shute, it works well but I'm not sure if I will used the vacuum hose . The lawn looks great!!
