Ematic Pro Series 7" 8gb Capacitive Mult

We bought this as a christmas gift for our 5yr old daughter. Well she never got to play with it. We plugged it up to charge and when we went to turn it on the power button got stuck on the inside and we could not get it back out. This happened on Christmas Eve so she was unable to play with it! We are returning it today and will probably just get out money back. It seemed very cheaply made. I hate this did not work out becuase she was super excited about it. May be looking in to a different brand, but same type of tablet. I would say if it worked better it would be a great product for kids.

For the price you are getting a pretty good value. It does what its supposed to, it can be sluggish because there is not a lot of ram but its a good low end tablet. You just need to use the Amazon app store or 1mobile for your apps and you are all set. Google Play store is ideal but there is not a dramatic difference in app stores. Bottom line get it for the kids, if they smash it you wont feel as bad.

Bought 2 of these tablets for Christmas gifts. Decided that we should charge them before we wrapped them. One worked fine but the other got so hot you could not touch it and would not boot up. Took the bad one back to Wal-Mart and got money back with no problem. The second seems to be working just fine.

I bought this tablet based on price. Well, you get what you pay for. It lasted not even 3 hours. I returned it, because it just simply quit working the green android was layin on his back with a big red caution sign on his chest, I contacted manufacturer and they said to return it. That it had a defect.

Very disappointed in this product. There are certain areas on the screen that do not react to touch - one was unfortunately in the area of the screen where the numeric keys appears! And turning the tablet to reorient the screen gave off a severe blurry glare. On top of that, the battery life is extremely short (not to mention the cord for the charger - it's very short too!).
