I bought this tablet for my husband who is a very tech savvy person, usually a first adopter of any new technology or gadgets that come out on the market. Since he's opened it (he couldn't wait til christmas), he has not put it down. He loves it. It is able to run photoshop go, i think it's called. He has been able to store all 72 days worth of his music on the microSD that he got for the tablet. The tablet can be used as a computer, a tv, a sketchpad, an mp3 player, and so much more.
If you think about taking good picture with your tablet, it's better to forget this one because it take very poor pictures. At lease for someone like me who is apple user, this tablet take's picture and video in very low resolution. But it could be enough for online chatting. Also speakers sound isn't very load. The other problem that I found is the low processor speed that make deadly in web browsing. But looks like it doesn't have problem for playing games. I wonder To see good screen resolution more than what expected. But because of low processor speed sometime it get blurring in motion when you are whatching the videos. The battery has a good life. It is an ideal tablet for kids. I bought it for $129 from Walmart and I don't expect more from this big screen tablet by this price.
A couple things: 1. I love this thing. 2. Easy to use! I have been very behind the times when it comes to technology the past couple years. My computer is a 10 year old desktop and I've been wary of getting anything new because everything goes obsolete so quickly and I don't use my computer for much other than games and Facebook, etc. So I've never used an android system or touchscreen anything (I refuse to get a smartphone as long as I can help it. I will break it immediately.) I was surprised at how easily I picked everything up. I also like the Google software. Plenty of apps and games to choose from. 3. I was surprised at how nice it actually is. I had an e-reader a couple years ago. The screen was one where you needed a stylus. It ran slow even with full Wi-Fi reception, so I was preparing myself for worst case scenario as far as the screen quality and response and also the android system. Everything runs great. I can browse comfortably with 1bar of reception. The only thing that sucks is that when weather is bad (downcast or foggy) you could have full reception, but the wi-fi won't connect to the internet until it clears up, but this is somewhat common in most wi-fi situations. 4. Cheap!! I got this on sale for $129.99 ($40 off regular price of $169.99). With the $28 2-year warranty through WalMart and tax and shipping, I paid less than $170 and had it in 5 days. I ordered it on Thanksgiving and had it by noon the following Tuesday. This is definitely worth the money. Honestly I think it would have been a perfectly respectable investment if I had paid full price. 5. Depending on what you need it for, this thing is perfect. Like I said, I use it for Facebook, Twitter, music (omg spotify is awesome), and games . It's also easy to link to email and can read so many kinds of file types. I deal with a lot of .PDF adobe files for work and I can view them perfectly. 6. It's much bigger than I though it would be. I knew it was a 10.1" model but was still expecting a 7" tablet when I opened it. It's about the same size as an iPad, just a little more rectangular. Also my other e-reader would only go portrait and landscape if you turned it 2 different ways. This will go portrait or landscape on all sides. It's the little things. You have no idea how awesome this feature is until you have to deal with it haha 7. The battery life is respectable, but not the best. If you're listening to music while you play apps, it will last 2-3 hours, which isn't awful, but not the best if you are going on a long trip. 8. The android keyboard for typing works just fine. I'm using it to type this out and it took me like 10 minutes. All in all, I recommend this tablet highly. It's easy to use, is worth the money, Oh and I almost forgot! The 16G of memory it comes with is MORE than enough for what I'm using it for. I have plenty of leftover storage space and also SD cards are relatively cheap depending on size if you need more. The end. Hope this helps someone!
This is my first tablet in a month's time The first one a Kindle Fire HDX, I love it. I wanted another one with the bigger screen that I could afford, I was a bit skeptical about the Hannspree I never heard of it first of all, then I said it can't be that good for that price. I read so many good reviews I had to try it. I'm so glad I did, this thing is absolutely amazing, great picture as good and maybe even better than my Kindle. It can stand up to any name brand. whoever created this one, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, FOR CREATING SUCH A GREAT TABLET AT A GREAT PRICE for people on a small budget like me. It exceeds the five stars****************************************
We gave three of these to teen agers for early Christmas presents since we will be out of town during the holidays. They seem to work very well and we have not heard of any problems. My wife has a more expensive unit and it works as fast and actually has a feature that hers does not have.
