Just now transitioning from an iPhone 5s to a newer 6s plus. I don’t need all the functions of the newer 8 and X phones so far. The biggest issue is getting use to the size difference in 6 vs. the 5 series phone. There are a lot more features available on the 6s plus that aren’t available on the 5s. The biggest advantage for me is the larger screen. It’s easier to read the “small” print on some websites that were difficult or impossible for me to read before. I do like the better camera function, more pixels, than was available on the 5s. Overall I diffinately like the 6s plus over the 5s. I’m in my 60s and occasionally surf the web but mostly text and check emails. It’s a great phone for what I use it for.
I'm happy with my new phone, but unfortunately it's no longer compatible with my old iMac. The 6s plus requires the 10.8.5 operating system. My computer has an older operating system, so unfortunately I can't sync my phone to iTunes. Other then that the phone is much better then my old one.
Superthin. 6+ size took a little getting used to. I'm 6'4" & have big hands. It's the absolute biggest you could '1 hand hold & type'. Screen size is fantastic & thats why I bought it, but I found that finally I can hold the phone horizontal and type with my thumbs because the keys are larger. Well the phone is longer it's not more than a half an inch wider than my 5S so it still fits into all my pockets. The dude is a design issue or two one is the off button is also for screen shots... Is opposite the volume buttons to push one you kind of have to push the other it's a bad location it was better on top the way it used to be on the 5S. I always thought Apple was wrong not to put the screen all the way out to the edges like Samsung, but it turns out Apple was right because when you grab this phone which has a usable area almost to the very edge of the phone when you're holding the phone your skin touches part of the screen and it registers as a touch. Even the smallest phone case would illuminate this but I haven't been using one yet
Had the 6plus prior a year later came this upgrade 6sPlus....same size just more punch and power went from 64gb to 128gb faster and better, quality pictures plus more and more features like Siri and Touch ID makes live so much easier.... 5 Stars all the way round!
Far exceeded my expectations on quality and performance. Video is exceptional and operation a breeze. With the latest update there are lots of features I didn't think I would use or care for but they have become rather useful. This 6s+ actually fits my large hands better than the regular size 6s so I drop it way less and use it one handed way more!
