Derma E Very Clear Moisturizing Face Cream, 2 oz

I use the face wash, serum, and the rebalancing cream from this line. I love them all. After trying dozens of prescription and over the counter acne products over the last 24 years these are the only products that keep my hormonal acne under control. Thank you!

Trying to find a gentle, yet effective acne moisturizer is difficult - especially if you have sensitive skin like me - but this moisturizing cream is just that. It targets acne while supplying just the right amount of moisture. I love using it under makeup because once dried, it's somewhat mattifying!

I use this product daily, morning and night and it works! Every now and then I use an SPF moisturizer in the a.m. as to not use acne products too often. I would say use it night and day in the beginning to be begin clearing your skin and notice if it's too drying or not. I used to have oily skin but I notice that it's not oily anymore, maybe combination or normal. I hate when I miss a night of this because I can see acne attempting to come in. Consistency is key! Oh and I just wash with a mild soap that I bathe with.

This moisturizer soaks in well and does not get shiny throughout the day. I have middle-aged skin but still get breakouts so this seems to work well. This seems to work well for my face, whereas the Tea Tree and Vitamin E Antiseptic cream did not work on my face.

I was looking for a slightly more moisturizing alternative to my DermaE Purifying Oil-Free Moisturizer for the winter months. Unfortunately even using this for just the evenings very lightly and even diluted this is still far too heavy and caused sudden breakouts which isn't typical for me, I break out hormonally each month so it was very out of norm, switching back to my Purifying Oil Free Moisturizer the breakouts have stopped, so I definitely cannot recommend this product. The smell of it also bothers my husband, and I cannot last my head on my pillow after application because even a truly light layer leaves my skin sticky.
