We sit for our 36 month old Great-grandson. Switching a seat twice a day between vehicles is undesirable. Reasonable cost and meeting long term growth possibilities were our priorities. Cost with the height and weight ratings took care of our priorities. One worry was some of the reviews (arm rests falling off). With a little care installing per instructions, no problems. I was not worried, Walmart's return policy is great; no questions. The bonus was the ease of adjusting the harness for strapping-in and un-strapping.

We bought this car seat for our grandson to use when we babysit him. It was a chore to constantly switch his parents' car seat from one vehicle to another and back. The car seat has easy to use fastening devices; and sits very well in the car. The reasons for only 3 stars are the armrests, and the cup holder. Both are cheap plastic that snap on (the armrests to the seat and the cup holder to the armrest). Otherwise it appears to be a sturdy car seat, to bad they got cheap with the arm rests and cup holder.

Great choice for toddlers who aren't ready for the car seat belt but to large for thier old carseat. Same safety restraints as the infant seat but they"re removeable so as your child grows there is no need for another purchase of another seat. I bought 2. One for each of our cars.

We had this seat for a few weeks now. I have seen car seats with more convenient attachments to the LATCH system. Also, the central button that releases the harness may be a bit too hard to push (perhaps, to deter a child from doing so?). But, overall, this is an excellent deal for the price. Some of the extras that are often included with other seats (e.g. pillows to support a small child's head) are sold separately, but I find it an OK way to cut the cost, especially because many users might not them. This seat also has a very broad range of suitable child weights, so I expect it to be the only seat we will need from now on. If it lasts, of course.

It was easy to install and is very secure in the car. Not hard to adjust to fit child. A great value!
