Hover-1 - My 1st E-Bike with 7.5 miles Max Range and 8 mph Max Speed - Mint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think one of the things that I didn't necessarily take into account was the true dimensions of this bike. Listen, this thing is great and it's cool and it's fun and it's unique. If you have a kid who is a certain age and size it's perfect. But my child was a bit awkward and it was just a little too small for him to be able to ride. His little brother is only four so he's too small, maybe I'll wait until he gets bigger and just give it to him since I think it will be so much fun for the right size child

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect starter e-bike for my eleven year old. I wish it was a little larger in size, but it did the trick to get him going on his own. It charges quicker than expected. And the battery lasts quite a bit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bike comes mainly already made. The front wheel needs to be installed. In order to make sure the washers end up in the correct places, the front forks need to be pulled apart while putting the wheel in place. That's the most complex part. The handlebars easily go into the top of the front forks and the saddle is easily put in place and adjusted. It comes with a multitool that looks like it should be really useful. However, the individual tools don't lock in place so it isn't usable. You're better off using your own screwdrivers. A small wrench is also included, which is useful. It only takes about 10 minutes to build, but it will need charging before using. The instructions are not clear on how to use it. It has two speed settings and can travel up to almost 10 mph. Once it's turned on by holding down the power button, you need to push the throttle tab while moving the bike forwards. You need to get it moving in order for the motor to start. Once the motor starts, it gets up to speed easily. It includes brakes, but the bike stops by itself once you're no longer pushing the throttle, it doesn't freewheel like a normal ike. It's a little heavy, but it's well balanced. Once it's moving, it's as easy to control and ride as a normal bike. A small kickstand is included. It's just about strong enough, but over time it may wear out and become less useful. The build quality is pretty high, with good quality plastics. The tires are pneumatic, not solid plastic. They give a better ride and absorb some small bumps. The foot pegs are a little small, which may be a little difficult for children with longer legs. The battery lasts a reasonable time, even using the higher speed. I would recommend this bike to anyone who is looking for something a little different and fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son is having a great time on this e-bike! It was an easy assembly, we were up and running in about 45 minutes. I think this would accommodate a child up to 12 since you can easily raise and lower the seat and handle bars. The bike does get up to speed quick and goes up to 9 mph! I definitely recommend a helmet! We have used it on grass and pavement and it performed great.
