I BOUGHT THIS FOR MYSELF LAST YEAR AND I HAVE VERY ROUGH HEELS AND BIG TOE CALLUSES... I HAD 2 SURGERIES ON MY LEFT FOOT THAT STILL HAS NOT BEEN, PROPERLY, FIXED AND MY BIG TOE LEANS ALL THE WAY OVER THE 2ND AND 3RD TOES MAKING THE BIG TOE JOINT PROMINENT, THEREFORE I, ALSO, HAVE A HARD CALLOUS THERE... I THINK THE REASON PEOPLE ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THIS ITEM IS BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO, PROPERLY, USE IT! I AM A SKINCARE SPECIALIST AND I USE THIS ON MYSELF AND I HAVE ANOTHER THAT I USE ON MY CLIENTS... THIS PRODUCT IS "NOT" AN INDUSTRIAL DESIGN! Batteries run down quickly, its easy to use, but i just didnt find it to be that great.

It would take me an hour to get me feet smooth with this. When you put pressure on it, it slows down, basically useless for the feet. I did use it to soften the skin around my fingernail beds and minor calluses on my thumbs. Nothing like the microplane foot file ( like a mini cheese grater) works amazing! Don't waste your money on this unless your feet are almost perfect already! Luckily I got mine at CVS at 75% off. Should have been my first clue!
