Replaced 7 inch RC spacers. Great shocks easy set up. Should have didn't along time ago. If you are thinking about this purchase don't hesitate you wont regret. Smooth ride truck sits perfectly.
I needed new shocks and struts and i went ahead and bought the air bag set up because i haul a travel trailer. Worth it. Love the ride quality. Easy to install. I had front and rear done in about 5 hours by myself.
Overall these are a great set of struts install was straight foward. (Just keep note that there is a outside indicator on top of the strut) After alighnment and about 9k miles struts are holding up well and performance is great both in street and especially offroad. (Much smoother then previous stock struts) I did notice the ride was a little bit firm from the start just after install but i guess after 500-750 miles (breaking in period) ride feels very smooth after that I definitely recommend theses struts!
I purchased and installed these 3. 5 inch struts to replace my worn out factory struts. Install wasn't too bad, the only problem I had was after the install my stock 17 inch tires rubbed on the newly installed upper 3. 5 RC control arms. This was a complete surprise as there was no mention of this issue even being posable. After some quick research I decided to replace my stock rims with aftermarket with a decent offset. I first thought was to go with wheel spacers but with all the horror stories about them I settled with new rims. That fixed that issue, just don't be surprised and prepare for this issue. Now back to the struts, as stated they are a great strut but they are extremely stiff right out of the gate. My truck literally felt like I was driving a tank. It took approximately 500 mile for them to break in and soften up, they are still a little stiff but the ride quality compared to the factory struts are night and day. One more thing they claim these will lift the front 3. 5 inches, mine took the front up to 4 inches and settled down to 3. 75. I don't believe they settled any more than that. I would definitely recommend these struts to family and friends. Great job RC, keep up the good work.
2in Loaded Struts are perfect fit on my 2017 Tahoe. I had a bit of confusion when I got the shipping invoice and when the parts arrived. The box and invoice said "stock" pair. I was worried they sent that instead of a 2in level. Customer support via chat quickly explained that they are "stock" for a truck but would be a 2in level on a Tahoe. It may be of benefit to find a way for RC to clarify that on their site when ordering to avoid confusion, but at the end of the day, a quick chat with customer support cleared it right up. Parts arrived quickly and packaged well. Not a fan of FedEx being the shipping company but that's just me splitting hairs. Rough Country delivered top notch parts at a good price. I'll definitely be returning for future parts.
