Considering the constant evolution of portable lights, or flashlights as I call them, I will say that this is one of the best I've ever used. First off, this light is bright!  It has a very comfortable ergonomic pistol grip with a trigger switch to control the brightness.  The first pull triggers the brightest setting.  This setting will fully illuminate a dark room and is more than enough power for most situations.  The second pull provides the dimmer setting and is what I normally use.  It is definitely bright enough and will conserve the battery if being used for an extended time.  The next pull turns it off.  It is ruggedly built and is water proof.  I've not had it in the water but it would easily be water resistant in the rain.  If you need a bright portable light this comes highly recommended. 

Beautifully made and have long lasting battery.. Very convenient to use the setup is most easy, nothing to do , just press button we are all set. It’s waterproof does a good job underwater. It has a placeholder to put a stick in so that we can use it for longer time or put it back on our hook.

The EverStart LED Waterproof Spotlight is a very capable flashlight for general use. First, it has bright 800 lumens capability. This is by far the most impressive feature of this product. The flashlight can be toggled in to bright mode and into a dim mode in order to save power or if simply you do not want it to be as bright. It does not have, however though, a blink mode which can be useful in emergencies. Still this is not a deal breaker for me. One great thing about this flashlight too is that it is also rechargeable. A flashlight this size and having this brightness often entails D size batteries which are not as accessible as AA batteries and are quite expensive as well. A USB type B cable is also included in the box. Unfortunately, there is no charger included. But then again most rechargeable devices no longer include chargers as they are ubiquitous and perhaps also not included to lower the price and also contribute to the well being of the environment as well. Another great thing about this flashlight is that it is waterproof as well. No IPX rating is given but I suppose it is a six or seven rated IPX since it is waterproof up to six feet as well. But do note that this flashlight also floats in the water which is ideal for those wishing to do night boating. All in all, this is a good flashlight which I highly recommend to all.

It is waterproof up to 6ft, so easy to keep and use in a boat when fishing or just traveling at night and kept in your trunk for a roadside emergency. It has 3 different modes of brightness which really helps depending on your situation. Easy to recharge, and even floats with the beam pointing up. I like to keep it handy during hurricane season as the power seems to fail at night.

I just love the EverStart Maxx Portable water resistant spot light. I love the size and how portable it is. The multi function light control is a big plus the high and low beam is helpful when using it inmany ways. This lightweight spotlight is useful in more ways than one and the convenience of recharging. The added rechargeable cord included makes charging this anytime anywhere. This spot light is by far the best one yet I'm very pleased with this spotlight.
