5g sucks. My previous 8 year old phone got better service than this supposed faster processor and the joke of 5g. Phone has no service all over the place that the other never had issues. Walk into a building and service will disappear. Driving down the road, no service always popping up. The only reason for the "upgrade" was the battery failed and cannot be replaced.
When you have reception, the phone is great, very fast, but the reception is not good. My very old phone had much better reception. Have problems with it dropping mobile data, even with decent reception. Once it drops, it doesn't want to reconnect.
I am having continual service problems with this Galaxy S21. Not only does it not get 5G service, it loses service entirely, especially where I work in Blacksburg, VA. I went to return and was told I was out of the return date (by 2 days?!?!) and could not return and continue to use my S10, which works absolutely fine. I am disappointed.
I hate that you take a screen shot on the side that the volume is as the volume moves at the same time and part of your screen shot shows the volume. Also, everything on one side makes it hit or miss that you can restart/shut down your phone. Design flaws.
I have had USCC for 20 yrs, we got 3 of these new phones and service is very bad. I live in bad area for service but our old s8's worked much better. when i spent almost an hr on phone with tech support they just said the new phone would not pick up as good as the old ones because of technology in my area. they didn't try to do any trouble shooting or anything. So I guess we will return new phones and cancel our contract.
