[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My honest opinion about using A53 5G. Very durable than Motorola phones. I was suppose to get 128 gb but received less because of pre-installed apps which I cannot uninstall and I don't like that. Sound is good. I would still recommend this phone but Samsung needs to be honest about the gb. Battery is OK but doesn't last all day and that needs more improvement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3.5 stars. Screen was nice and bright and the phone feels nice in the hand, but it was too big for me to use comfortably. Mine started lagging a bit so ultimately I returned it. This phone is probably best for people who buy new phones annually and not adults who want something long term or relying on it for work. purposes. I doubt you'd get more than two years of use from it due to lagging.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from a Motorola to the Samsung. The battery charge - operation time is 2 days +. The storage and speed are awesome.
I bought this phone about two months ago, I came from the galaxy S20 FE 5G. I thought this phone would be on par since at the time its like the top of the line A series phone... oh I was wrong, the display is gorgeous sure but definitely no where near as vibrant as the S20 FE, the cameras where stellar believe it or not, front and rear cameras performed superbly! My biggest issue with this phone is the fact that it is stated to have 6 gigs of ram and I KNOW what 6 gigs should run like... between the processor and the RAM, this phone performs like its running on two gigs of ram to be honest. I can not for the life of me be looking a picture on any social site then actually click on the picture to see it by itself and this phone actually shows the photo, it will just show a blank screen. If I'm watching a video, it doesn't have many problems but I have a ton of issues with moving through different apps, entering different types of screens or stories and repeatability. The majority of of what I use this phone for is text, social media browsing and youtube. It's really bad with handling social media photo processing. Never purchasing anything from the A series line up again based off of this phone.
I've had this A53 5g a couple of months, traded in a S20 5g. Like that it still has a SD slot. Does not take many task to bog down the processor. Having absolute hell mating this thing to VPNs. Protocol has to be changed & each one I've tried keep disconnecting & has to be reconnected manually. Never happened on the S20 5g. Build quality is substandard. Seems to be all plastics of some sort. It's light weight, where the S20 5g had some metal & some weight to it. The camera is good. Wish Samsung would have kept SD slots on the S22s. I think one would be ahead to buy used late date S model over a new A53 5g.
