Samsung - 27" ViewFinity S9 5K IPS Smart Monitor with Matte Display, Thunderbolt 4 and SlimFit Camera - Silver

I love my Samsung products and even this monitor makes me happy to do hobbies or work on projects that I love. Having the high resolution and color accuracy is important to me. The additional TV feature is also nice to have if I have to pass the time. I do have a few qualms that come with this monitor though that I think need to improve. -Samsung remotes cause the monitor to turn on regardless if they belong to other devices. this can be a bit frustrating when I only want to turn on one device. -My color calibration didn't give me Delta >2 when I set it up in pro mode. Not sure if it was cause my Fold 4 is a bit outdate or if there were other conditions even though I tried this in a dark room. -When connecting with DisplayPort, the camera is not recognized by my other computer. Its kind of a hassle to switch to different computers to use a webcam or when the webcam is not available for the more powerful computer to use. -Audio quality is okay, but I think it could have use more speakers for power or a different covering material.

Not compatible with most docking stations since it only has a thunderbolt in port. I tried 3 different docking stations and called Samsung support multiple times to find out that you can only directly plug in the monitor directly into your laptop through thunderbolt. You can't use a dock to set it up alongside multiple displays, or at least that's what support told me. They recommended me to return the monitor so that's what I'm doing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very pleased with this monitor. I went from a 43" 4K to this 27" 5K for the resolution pixel density. it looks great! Pros: +Crystal Clear 5K resolution +1 Thunderbolt/USB-C cable. Only one cable to my PC. All cables plug into the back of the monitor. Cleaned up my desk. +Narrow bezel/frame +Nice low-profile webcam design Cons: -Wish it had LAN on the back of the monitor -Wish it had at-least one USB-A on the back of the monitor -When the monitor turns off, the power is cut off to the laptop plugged into it -For work monitor(even WFH) the whole smart monitor tv features not necessary and just extra clutter -Wish the webcam had the ability to zoom in. Too wide angle shows, my whole office. -Speakers could be improved for such an expensive monitor
