Sally Hansen Treatment, Repair + Rescue Nail Super Strength Defense 0.44 fl oz

I bought this two days ago and tried it last night with 2 coats. Within less than 12 hours it was peeling off! I buy a lot of SH products and absolutely swear by them, which is why I ignored the reviews on this one and bought it anyway. I won't again though unfortunately. Doesn't come anywhere near the results of most of the other SH nail products. Disappointing.

Honestly, nail polish constantly peels and never last longer than a day. I found this ridge filler in my grandmas nail cupboard. It works wonders with smoothing out my nails and adds an amazing colour! Plus it lasts great!!!

Nothing drives me crazier than reviews without proof. We don't need pictures of the bottle. We don't need pictures of painted nails. We want to see if the product does what it says it does. That's what I give you. I had what's called "rings of fire" on my fingernails from years of wearing UV gel and filing down the top layers. When I recently decided to give myself a break I was shocked at how thin my nails were without the support of UV gel and wraps. They were literally so thin that it hurt a little when I put pressure on the tops of my nails. I've trusted Sally Hansen products for decades so when I saw the Repair and Rescue line, I thought I'd give it a try. I used it twice a week religiously. The instructions suggest applying every other day but by the end of the week the polish was so thick, so I didn't do that. I completely removed it midweek and reapplied twice a week. This is the timeline. The first photo was taken today March 22. The second photo was taken March 4th. The last photo was taken February 1st. Some would say that's a relatively long time and that nails would likely grow at the same rate without help. But I know my nails were not growing as strong as fast before I tried Sally Hansen Rescue and Repair. If you've got damaged nails and you want to see improvement fast, trust in this product. Just give it a try. You can clearly see in the latest photo how opaque and healthy my nails look now. That's with just 2 coats of the polish.

I'm surprised to see the negative reviews of this polish because I am loving it. It dries quickly and I'm getting 4 days minimum without any chipping. It also makes my yellowed nails look great. This morning after having it on for a week I just swiped some remover over to remove the top layer and added a new coat. It is working well for me.

I love this stuff. It doesn't streak like most sheer colors. Sure, it chips easily, but I don't expect a gel manicure out of a bottle. I just slap a top coat over it and it holds up fine. I really like how easy it is to put on (I'm not great at manicures but I want my hands to look nice) and how fast it dries. Keep making it and I will keep buying it. I don't suppose you'd consider a pink-tinted version?
