Makes your hair soft and silky, lathers well, the smell is very nice too. Also bought a bottle for my granddaughter's horse, worked wonderfully, horse looked so clean and shiny.

I love this shampoo! There is a misconception that it belongs in the animal isle. Not true! Newsflash, Walmart. The rest of the retail world knows what isle to put the Mane and Tail in. Don't let the name confuse you.

Mane 'n Tail has been a household staple in my family life for a long time. I've switched to other shampoos %26 as I got older, I realized that my hair (which is generally very long) started breaking and the split ends were crazy. It was happening to my teenage daughter as well. We tried different products and the same thing. After some research, you see that most other shampoo %26 conditioner products are owned by the same companies that own Rogaine...go figure. But Mane 'n Tail are still family owned. Tried and true. No glamourous ads, no thousands of dollars spent on ego, this product truly speaks on its own reputation. I have thick wavy hair, my daughter has very thick very curly hair, and this works for us. My husband will use it when needed, but shaves his head. Great product that doesn't need billboards to sell their products. Very much recommend. If you're tired of spending money on crap items, try this great product.

This is best shampoo i have ever used. My scalp felt better after just one use and I've seen so much improvement after just a few months. My hair was thinning and my scalp was getting brittle and dry but now it feels amazing and I'm already seeing new growth. Now I know why my father insisted on using this shampoo for years.
