Came nice and clean with plastic wrap and the label in perfect condition. Can be difficult to find the start (hint only use the outside, poke around for a loose thread and pull it out and you are good to go), but once you get going it is easy to work with. This is a true white.
This is a case of Read the fine print. The photo shows a One Pound spool of thread. What they're selling is the smaller 350 yard spool. So, you think you're getting a really good deal when in fact, you're getting ripped off. You can buy the smaller spool for less than half the price at Michael's.
Overpriced, but the package was whole, and the product eventually got to me. If anything, I'm upset with Walmart for not keeping enough stock for the much more cost-effective 3-pack I wanted until after I already bought this one and opened it, and the delivery process that got the package to me a day later than expected. Again, product and packaging - fine. Availability, price and service - not good.
Very serviceable and well-behaved cotton thread in plenty of colors to satisfy most. I've used nearly every brand of cotton crochet thread available and you really can't beat the quality of RedHeart cotton for the price point, especially for big projects like wedding dresses or matelasse coverlets. Good stitch definition without being too ropey, nice finish, resists fuzzing, pilling and breakage well, very good yardage.
