Toy Story Talking Buzz Lightyear, Bilingual

My son loves the Buzz Lightyear we got him. He is only 3 years old and handles the toy well, but I still worry about it breaking easily if it is accidentally dropped on a hard surface. This is a good price for a toy this size that does so many things that kids love. Wings pop out, hands move, helmet moves, etc. I do wish the legs and feet moved a bit easier so it was easier to place into a standing position.

I bought two of these for my two older boys and was really excited when they came. Then we got them out of the box. I realize it says in the description that this Buzz is bilingual - what they fail to mention is that Buzz says VERY LITTLE in English and a whole lot in Spanish! I know in Toy Story 3 Buzz winds up speaking some Spanish, but this toy goes a little too far. Plus, they set it up so only one button is for English phrases and two buttons are for Spanish. If there were just a few Spanish phrases it would have been fine, but that's just not the case. Just on principle I returned them and found an English speaking version at Target. If you don't mind all the Spanish then by all means enjoy this toy, it's just for us I prefer that Buzz speak English

My newphew loves it. he has a little trouble repeating the spanish voice as well as the english but he loves it all the same. keep in mind, the spanish voice is fluent and fast and doesn't at all sound like the original buzz. but my nephew is hispanic and can keep up and still loves it. he doesn't go anywhere without it!

Broke with in 24 hrs. Has no flashing lights on the wings. No karate chopping.Helmet keeps coming off.Since it was sent to another address and the mother threw out the packaging. I could not return. It is now a plastic toy that has no action. The little boy wanted Woody and Jesse too. Not buying them. Do not have $40.00 to spend unhappily.

I bought this for my 3.5 year old son for Christmas. Less than 3 weeks later, the wings work only about 50% of the time and the retractable helmet button no longer works. It's a fun toy, and he loves it more than anything, but he keeps saying "Mommy, it's not working!" and then I have to fix something that has fallen off or gotten stuck. For $35, I would expect better quality, especially if boys are playing with it!
