Stride Rite Girls Big Kid Claire Mary Jane

I bought these shoes for my first grade daughter (Size 3 WIDE) because my daughter wears uniforms. We wasted a lot of time in stores, trying to find the right show... but they were all really uncomfortable. I remembered that Stride Rite always had great shoes for my wide-foot boys and those shoes lasted and re-sold well. Since I wanted quality I took the jump and bought the Claire Mary Janes (use Rakuten extension for $ back). My daughter LOVES them and wants to wear them everyday even on PE days LOL! I do recommend that you get shoe polish like (kiwi), so you can care for the leather properly. Si usted tiene hijos o hijas con el pie ancho les recomiendo que compren los zapatos Stride Rite y selecionen WIDE (ancho). Los zapatos son de buena calidad, comodos, de cuero y si los venden aunque esten usados la gente va a pagar mas. No se les olvide cuidar del cuero con un limpiabotas (Kiwi- lo encuentras en Walmart cerca de los zapatos). Asi el zapato se mantiene bonito y el cuero dura mucho mas!

These shoes are very cute and my 5 year old said they are the most comfortable shoes she has ever owned. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the strap has threads constantly unraveling that I have to tidy up. It's not the end of the world but it's definitely been an annoyance since day 1.

My granddaughter is sometimes hard to fit due to having a wide foot but these shoes in the wide fit her perfectly. They were cute enough to wear with tights and her fancy Christmas dress plus they look good with jeans or casual wear too. Will definitely purchase again. These are very practical

I am very disappointed in these shoes ! The first day of school was on 8/28 and the shoes didn't last one day of wear. Large l scuff marks on toe area of shoes , material actually peeled away. I have always brought Stride rite shoes and could not believe the poor quality of these shoes.

Okay, you have to understand that my granddaughter is highly sensitive, she hates to wear socks or underware, and shoes have been almost impossible to find a pair she will wear. She loves these shoes, the sole is so flexible that I want a pair for myself. :)
