Desert of Dreams

Desert of Dreams is the debut solo release from New York guitarist, Justin Jordan. Best known for his blues work with his band Zombies on Broadway, Justin takes it down home with a more country rock flavored CD. However, all his experience and influences - ranging from playing with pop rock icons The Turtles to Irelands favorite son Sean Fleming- peek through, making this release a very enjoyable listen. Justin enlisted a core band consisting of: * Steve Holley on drums. Steve is currently working with Ian Hunter and his career credits range from Wings to Joe Cocker and Dar Williams. * Lance Doss on Bass, Lap Steel, Guitars, and Banjo. This versatile musician is a member of the John Cale band and a member of the Alabama Rock n Roll hall-of-fame. * Tanya Alexander of the Shirlles adds backing vocals. He compliments this core talent with special guests such as Kenny Kosac from the Jerry Garcia band playing fiddle and accordion added by Sean Fleming.
