So far I am satisfied with this canopy I use it to cover my boat went up easy with two people, was missing a couple parts contacted King Canopy,, they send I had to go back through hayneedle to order the missing parts, hayneedle has ordered them and waiting for parts

This tent is great! We bought it to replace our original king canopy that we bought over 20 years ago. The tent design is nice as the side of the tent comes down a little longer on the top sides than original tent. It was great!!

Actually purchased these to be used on a construction jobsite for a shelter area for the crew to take lunches. Definitely heavy duty steel and was easy to assemble. Product withstood the heavy rains and winds from Orlando's recent Hurricane Hermine in the area. Definitely a great value for the quality!

Dear Walmart Shoppers: I am disappointed in the KING CANOPY Company. I was sent the WRONG PARTS in a 13x20' kit purchased in 2014. I didn't notice the error and attached the cover anyway. It seemed tight so I thought it was supposed to be like that. Over the next two years, the cover slowly started to rip at its attach points. Puzzled, I measured everything yesterday and realized I'd been sent the wrong parts in the kit. Subsequently this caused a lot of problems and KING CANOPY won't help. It's visible in the attached pictures that the C & D pipes I received are the same size (they're supposed to be different sizes) and they're both 40.25" long (but I discovered later the C pipes are supposed to be 32.5" and the D's 39.75" long). This made the skeleton bigger than it's supposed to be and made the cover too small (notice the skylights can't make it over the front and rear pipes). My mistake was not noticing the wrong size pipes were packed in the kit. KING CANOPY'S mistake was sending a kit packed incorrectly. I'm paying for my mistake but KING CANOPY says this is not their problem and refuses to help. That's just wrong. In June 2014, I paid $470 + shipping for a 13x20' KING CANOPY Storguard garage. I put it together in July 2014 after speaking to customer support. It seemed kind of difficult to attach the cover to the pipes (skeleton to the cover) but I did my best to get it to fit and attach the bungees. After 2 years, I noticed there were tears in the canopy where the bungees are tied to the front and the back. I'm a retired engineer and studied it a bit and puzzled over what was going on. I thought about buying a new cover but was concerned the new cover (cost $119) would have the same problem. I was correct in my hesitation to buy a new cover. I took out several of the pipes that make up the walls and measured each pipe and swage (that fits into the pipe). Each pipe and swage (30 in all) is 40.25" long. When the pipes are put together, the total length is 77.25". There are 3 sections (upper and lower so six in total) of 77.25" pipe plus four 2" vertical pipes that support the walls and roof. That made the length of the garage ~ 20'. I calculated that as follows: [(77.25"/pipes/section * 3 pipes/section) + (4 vertical pipes * 2.0"/ vertical pipe) = 231.75" + 8.0" = 239.75" = ~ 20.0'] Next, I measured the length of the cover. End to end, it is 235.0" = 19.6'. The cover is 4.6" too short to reach the end of the skeleton. However, the cover is actually supposed to attach at its interior vertical bungee holes (which are about 5.0" from the cover's end). This means the cover is actually about 8" too short. That's why attaching it anyway led to its ripping at the seams (where the bungees attach). At this point I realized that the cover would never, ever fit, so I decided to figure out if it was the cover that was manufactured incorrectly or if the pipes were too long. It had to be one or the other. I looked up specs on the King Canopy website but could not find any specs for the cover such as actual length. Here's all I could find... Storeguard's manuals are well written and the parts list is clear. Build diagrams show: • The 13x20' wall is made of 3 C Pipes (32.5") and 3 D swage pipes (39.75") • The 13x24' wall is made of 4 C's (32.5") and 4 D's (39.75") • The 13x27' wall is made of 4 C (40.375") and 4 D pipes (40.375") Bingo! At that point I knew the problem was that I received the wrong size pipes and swages! My C & D pipes/swages are both 40.25", not what they were supposed to be (32.5" and 39.75"). The 13x20' cover will NEVER fit correctly. My mistake was trying to make it fit rather than recognize the error. I just thought it was a tight fit. KING CANOPY has discontinued sales of their 13x20' Storguard and it's probably because when you calculate the length using the spec's numbers, the end result is a garage that has a length of only 17.9 feet (69" * 3 + 8" = 215" = 17.9'). Maybe people got upset because they had an 18' garage rather than a 20 foot one. I don't care about that -- I just want mine fixed now. I called KING CANOPY and explained the situation. They asked me when I bought the garage and I told them in 2014. They said to send an email with a copy of my receipt and explain the error and attach pictures of the C & D pipes with a measuring tape showing they're the same size (each is 40.25"). I also sent pictures of the bungees attached to the skeleton showing the cover was tearing at its attach points from being stretched over the past two years. (It took two years before the rips were big enough to be noticeable because the cover is pretty well made.) KING CANOPY got everything and then quickly responded the warranty is only for one year and sent a parts list for all three of their Storguards. I told them that at the start of our conversation. What they seem not to realize (or just don't care) is that I'm stuck here because their 13x20 replacement parts won't help fix a MISMATCHED garage. I supposed I could buy 30 new C & D pipes and a new 13x20' cover (at a considerable expense of $265 + shipping) or buy a 13x24' cover (at $130 + shipping) and hope it fits better even though it's too big. I'm not sure how to salvage this garage and KING CANOPY IS NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING. I also contend that this is not a warranty issue. This is the same as if someone bought a car that was supposed to have a 2.0L engine but got one with a 3.0L engine. Because the consumer is not mechanically inclined, she didn't notice the wrong engine was in the car. After a couple of years of driving around with the wrong engine, the car starts to have serious issues. The consumer then closely inspects the car and realizes it has the wrong engine and notifies the manufacturer of the error. If the manufacturer's responds, "Sorry, your car's warranty is up so this is not our problem! Bye bye." That would be wrong. I didn't notice I had the wrong parts and assembled what was sent to me. I made a $500.00 dollar mistake for which KING CANOPY is making me pay and they get off scot-free. They are not interested in owning up to their mistake. I made several mistakes here: 1) Not noticing the C & D pipes were the same size 2) Not noticing the C & D pipes were 40.25" instead of 32.5" 3) Not noticing the D swages were 40.25" instead of 39.75" 4) Trying to make the cover fit by attaching it anyway 5) Not realizing the cover was slowly ripping 6) Buying anything from KING CANOPY I was a manufacturing engineer for many years. This error should have been caught waaaay before it reached me. The minimum KING CANOPY should do now is to send out a new cover (13x24' perhaps but maybe it would not fit correctly -- I'm not sure) or send the pipes that should have been in the kit initially and a new 13x20' cover and ask me to pay for their cost for a new cover. Heck, KING CANOPY is not even interested in trying to help figure out how to solve this by advising the best solution here. They just sent out the parts list for all three Storguards and said it was not their problem. They are not a good company! BE CAREFUL IF YOU BUY FROM THEM!!
