e.l.f. Soothing Primer

I like the consistency of this primer. It's a nice lightweight formula. The problem I have is that it either doesn't combine well with my moisturizer or my foundation. It seems to go on nicely and then when I start applying my foundation, it rubs off my face like a face peel.

this primer sucks. I normally love elf products, but this one just straight up sucks. It left my skin feeling greasy and flaky. I have oily, acne prone skin, and I had dryed my skin out before putting this on, and it didn't work. DON'T BUY THIS PRIMER

I'm 55 with combination skin. I have used all kinds of face primers from high-end to low-end & came across this one. It has become my go-to. I use it under Elizabeth Arden foundation & Believe loose powder. After sometimes 16 hr work days, my foundation is still in place. I've read through some reviews here & I don't have any of the problems other people have.

Overall, this is a pretty decent primer. It definitely allows for a much smoother application of foundation. However, this did not do much in the way of color correcting for me. I have moderate rosacea on my cheeks and nose, and this did not touch it whatsoever. It is very silky smooth, and the smell is faint but pleasant.

First off, I have like a Normal to Oily skin. A combination like skin so I don't think this primer would be great for me. It keeps my foundation, concealer and overall base nicely. The only problem would be my personal skin type. I do think that it'll be great for those who are more so Dry Skin Types rather than combination to oily skin types.
