Jergens Hand and Body Lotion, Soothing Aloe Refreshing Body Lotion with Aloe Vera & Cucumber Extract, 10 Oz

I've been using this lotion for over 10 years. And it was the best for so many reasons. Curing my breakouts, keeping my skin really vibrant and moisturized. But in the recent months I've definitely noticed that the original formula for this particular lotion has been changed. It no longer helps my skin when I have breakouts (actually making it worse) and instead of the light smooth texture it used to have, it's thicker and has a weird waxy feeling now. Why was the formula changed? It was absolutely perfect the way it was. After all these years, I will have to switch brands now.

Perfect lotion for hotter days, it absorbs quickly and has absolutely no tackiness. No other lotion can even begin to compare to this product. Hard to find, please DO NOT discontinue, patiently waiting for restocking.

I have been using Jergens Soothing Aloe for more years than I can remember. I use it every day after showering as an all over body lotion. It went on smoothly, was totally absorbed living no greasy feeling and did not have a heavy scent. I worked for years in a medical facility and we recommended this product to patients to prevent dry skin, especially the elderly who often have skin infections that arise some dry skin. I recently opened a new bottle with the new packaging and all those great characteristics are no more. Upon first pump I could tell this is not the same lotion. It has a waxy feel and is more difficult to spread on. It does not totally absorb and leaves a tacky feel. I compared the ingredients with an old bottle I had and the ingredients are both different and in different order hence a different formula. Now me and my colleagues are in search for a different product to use ourselves and to recommend to others. Jergans, why on earth would you change a product that was so great? A huge disappointment.

I have been using Jergens Aloe for over a decade. Best lotion of all times. It keeps my hands from drying out from frequent washing and smells lovely, too. I am highly allergic to scents but this one is both pleasant and hypoallergenic for me. I can't recommend it more highly.
