onn. 36" 5.1 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer

The sound bar is okay, but there are some issues. Connecting to our ONN TV using the HDMI ARC connection results in a sound delay of up to half a second, maybe a little more. It has an annoying default sound level of "15," which is far too loud. The subwoofer usually doesn't turn on when I turn on the soundbar, which means I have to manually turn it on. And since the satellite speakers are connected to the subwoofer rather than the soundbar, that means they don't turn on when I turn on the soundbar, either. Not very pleased with this system, at all.

constantly having issues, the sound bar refuses to connect to the subwoofer, have NEVER been able yo connect it. and intermittently (literally every other time) we turn the tv on the HDMI ARC (input that tv should automatically turn sound bar on) the sound bar fails to produce sound. do not buy this junk quality control is lacking.

Absolute crap. Of course I'm reading all the reviews I can fine , trying to find a fix for my problem. What I'm finding is most of the people we're having this problem weeks after buying it. And there is absolutely no fix. I've had mine for about six months. The subwoofer will not hook up to The sound bar via Bluetooth like it supposed to. And there is no fix. You are stuck with just the sound bar and worthless speakers and subwoofer. Absolute piece of Crap. $170 or whatever I paid down the flipping drain !

The set up and installation were fairly easy and smooth. I hooked it up to my living room tv and it sounded like a theater! It provides fantastic sound quality and definitely made a difference in tv and movie viewing! I constantly have to rewind a show and turn on closed captioning to read what was actually said, but I had no problems hearing any program with the sound bar! It made the sound so much better and clear!

The footprint and design of the soundbar is good. The subwoofer connects wirelessly to the TV/soundbar is another plus. When watching movies, the sound quality for this setup was impressive. Negatives: when turning on the TV/soundbar which was using the optical connection, the volume was automatically on level 15, which was too loud. So we had to reduce it to 7-9 each time we turn on the TV, because it does not remember that level. The soundbar is not compatible with the chromecast with Google TV remote, so we have to use the soundbar remote to turn on the soundbar and and control the volume. Despite trying numerous orientations within our room, restarting and/or unplugging the speakers numerous times, there is an audible popping noise that happens occasionally, like every few minutes. I would recommend this product if you are on a budget and don't mind the lack of volume control on initial startup and the popping noise, but maybe that is because our TV is 10 years old.
