I had a dated Bose Sounddock Series II Home Music System with the 30 pin adapter. It had been in my closet for years collecting dust. This Apple Lightning adapter allowed my IPhone X to attach perfectly. Sound quality is excellent.

I bought this adapter last week for use in my home stereo docking station. It works just fine: I can listen to my iPod through my stereo and the iPod gets charged when the stereo is off. The only thing I can't speak to is durability because I just purchased the adapter, but I rarely remove my iPod from my stereo so I expect the adapter to last for a long time. The last one I had was just like this one and it lasted seven or eight years.

Does not fit into the lightning port on my Apple iPhone, which is specifically what the product is meant to do. Not sure if this one was defective or if the whole line is faulty, but either way I am extremely unsatisfied.

The only way this works is to remove the iPhone case which is a problem. The adapter is a joke. It doesn't even charge on my iHome clock radio. Big mistake and I can get my $ back.

If you have your iphone6 in an otterbox, this will not fit. Annoying & since this phone has gotten bad press for shattering, I imagine I am not the only one with it in a case.
