I have had my printer for just about a week. Was astounded at the print quailty, It is something that you have to experience to really believe. I printed a picture out on plain "cheap" copy paper and it looked as good as a the ones that are printed on photo paper. A very good investement for the money.

We've had our printer for about 3 months now, and so far it's been working great. We really like the print quality. One thing to be aware of though is that some non-HP print cartridges do not work on this printer. (We got some non-HP cartridges, and they left gray streaks on the paper.) Also, the manual feed tray could be better. I've found that I can't send more than one piece of paper through the manual feed tray. If I try to send 2, the printer will grab both pieces of paper at once. I've also not had much success printing out envelopes. Admitedly, I didn't work at it very long, but I was a little disappointed that it wasn't easier. (I've done this before on other printers and not had as much trouble.)

This has to be the best LaserJet Printer for the cost. Priced at $299.00 it is an easy buy, and prints incredibly well to excellent. The only draw back is the amount of toner in a cartridge. If you print a lot of pages, it is worth it to tell the printer how many dpi to use, instead of using the best, or default mode for printing. Conserving toner does not impact printing quality and should be performed in all methods of printing, no matter what the layout is. Excellent LaserJet Printer and I highly recommend it, and as a publisher and editor I know my business!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! The print quality is pheonomenal. It was so easy to set up and start using. I run a small business, and my brochures (which I only print 5-10 at a time), look just as good or better than my friends who went to commerical sheet fed printers and had to order thousands at a time. From printing off a new recipe from the web, designing a presentation for my best client or making sales fliers and promotional pieces for business- you would never believe that my color laser printer was under $300. I have 3 children under 5, a home and business to run- I do not have time to worry about my equipment or make costly mistakes. HP has answered my prayers with this affordable printer, without cutting out the quality. Champange printer on beer budget- THANKS HP!!

The only complaint that I have about this (and other HP printers that I have purchased) is the fact that if you plug the USB cable in while the computer is running, you are likely to blow out the printer. Any other USB device that I own can be plugged in while the computer is running -- but not HP printers!
