I ordered three sets and two of them work fine but the other set was messed up. The on/off switch was broken so we couldn't use them but overall the other two have been working great.
This headset is a waste of money. It will work perfectly for a short while then you will start to notice that the sound cuts out frequently but can be resolved by spinning the cord plugged into the controller. The second phase is the mic stops working in one side (specifically the right side.) The fourth phase is when you are trying to talk but there is a very loud noise that sounds like wind is blowing in your mic (even when muted). The final phase is you can no longer talk through it or it will make the sound. The mic barely works in one ear. I've bought two of these to further test it but they always come back with the same results. Just save up and buy a high end headset, or buy the cheaper $15 headset that works a lot longer.
Bought this headset because it was one of the cheaper options, since I don't use a headset too often when I play my games. I used it for the first time a few days ago and the sound quality is very good, although I don't really have any more expensive options to compare it to. Definitely would recommend for a casual online gamer like myself. Gets the job done without any issues.
The headset plugs right into your controller and is awesome quality. The microphone works really well too, and I'm glad that this is the product I purchased! Definitely better quality than a lot of other headsets I've seen, and cheaper too!
I was in the market for a new headset, and I was thinking about the Kingston HyperX Cloud, but I wasn't sure I wanted to pay that much money. I had seen the Creative Draco as a recommendation for a budget set, but the headset I was replacing was the same brand, and it seemed like the mic design hadn't changed, so I was afraid of another failure. Then I saw these for nearly half the price. They were the right price and seemed to have all the features I was actually looking for, with the volume and mic mute control on the cord and a connected, non-detachable, mic. I thought I could at least return them if the didn't fit well or sounded bad. Originally I was going to get the Xbox version, which has a green accent instead of blue, but I didn't like that shade of green, and the PS version was five dollars cheaper at the time, so I got these. Plugged into the Xbox One controller, they are everything I wanted them to be. The sound is clear and neutral, instead of being bass heavy like inexpensive cans tend to be. My friends can all hear me well, even when I'm trying to keep my voice down during late night gaming sessions. They don't just sound good for cheap headphones. They sound good, period. Are they as good as Audio Technica M50 headphones? No, but they sound better than sets I've heard costing at least twice as much. The cord is shorter than usual, but the perfect length for connecting to a handheld controller. It might not work for plugging into anything further than arm's length away without some kind of extension. I've been using them for about 5 months with no issues.
