I asked for Shallots and not happy with the pearl onion substitution. They're not comparable
going to make cream peas and onion
they are okay, we put in baggie in microwave for 1 min., use to we could cut one end of the onion and pop them out, these did not come out as easily, but have not bought them in 5 plus years
Obviously rotten onions! Only three that were viable out of what should have been dozens. However it was just a clamshell full of rotten pearl onions shells and skin that puff with mold when you squeeze them. I ordered a larger bag of pearls but instead received a clamshell of rotten ones. I selected no substitutions but this is the only item they even sell in store. Very disgusting and disappointing! It was pretty obvious before opening that most of them were bad, but all bad but 3?!? That's bad business and wrong to do to customers. I paid for a large bag, for three pearls out of the incorrect packaging. Wish I could give ZERO STARS!
I love these. Great for soups and stews. Unfortunately, They never have them in stock! So why do they still have them available to order?
