I shared a picture of lettuce that I picked up via curb service. It was slimy and brown on one side and green on the other, I was asked if I wanted it refunded or replaced. I wasn't going back to store being that I am taking care of my sister that is under hospice. I pay to get someone to sit with her so I can go pick up. Regardless.... my response was "I threw lettuce away already". So, I'm left with no lettuce and no refund. So unacceptable. I just checked order and I was charged even though I sent a picture and communicated with someone. i -dont know how to attach picture here but I did send picture.

I have received decent size and very small heads in the past. Now, I understand that lettuce wilts from the outside in and grocery stores trim the outer leaves to salvage produce but there should be limits and I, as a consumer and 'valued customer' should not get a head of iceberg lettuce the size of a small grapefruit.

Lately lettuce has been skimpy. Weight is around 1 lb head hardly enough to make a salad for 2. Avg.weight in past was approx. 1 1/2 lb. Price is per head, but such weight disparity is not of quality expected especially when ordering for pick up or delivery; not knowing if you are going to have adequate amount for family salad. JMPOV.

The reason I only gave it a two is because whoever does the shopping doesn't know how to check for lettuce or pineapples or anything else like that. I got a real loose leaf. It was small and I mean I got one salad out of what was there so we really wish that you would teach your shoppers how to check produce thank you.

I am picky about my vegetables. when I order vegetables online and have somebody else pick it out for me it's kind of like a crap shoot whether I'm going to get what I concider a good choice. the kids that do the shopping I know are young, they haven't really experienced how to choose a good cantaloupe, or a good watermelon, or a good head of lettuce. sometimes I get a very soft loose head of lettuce and sometimes it's a good solid head of lettuce. nine times out of ten I do my produce shopping myself. but in this case I have no choice since I cannot walk for a few more weeks. don't get me wrong, the kids are doing a great job and the more they understand how to pick out good produce the better they will get.
