Cream of Wheat Whole Grain Hot Cereal, Kosher, 18 OZ Box

Not only is this healthier than the long term standard Cream of Wheat, it actually has a bit more flavor and is more enjoyable. I do wish however that after how many decades they would grow up and modify the packaging! I had to hack my way into the "push here" and then there has never been a way to re-seal the box. You're best off going to some dollar store and buying a cereal storage container that's big enough to hold the cereal, and again hacking off the product name and whatever else from the hard cardboard and taping it on the container. Worth the effort.

I was delighted when I first saw this whole grain version of Cream of Wheat. As I suspected, it was just as creamy but more flavorful than the original version. When I finished that first box I went shopping for more and couldn't find it in any of my local supermarkets including the one where it was first purchased. I don't understand why it is not carried in any of the large chain supermarkets, particularly now that there is so much emphasis on eating whole grains. After calling BGFoods, the distributor, I was told I could find it at Walmart.com. So glad I was able to find it. I like it made with half milk, half water adding only a little salt and butter when it's ready. So delicious!

The order and pick up process was completely painless. I have to order this because none of the grocery stores (including Walmart) carries this as a shelf item. They carry the regular (red box and instant whole grain), but not the Cream of Wheat Whole Grain in the box. I have been purchasing on line for a good while. Will continue to do so until it is no longer available on line as well. This is the only brand that my grand child eats.

Good product especially for elderly and those who want more of cpmplex carbs.

Love this whole wheat product! More flavor than ordinary cream of wheat and better for me. Mix in some buckwheat and you get a nice crunchy cereal.
