Thank you Quaker for listening and changing your recipe to use safer, better ingredients (actual strawberries for a start, instead of pieces of other fruit dyed red and injected with lab-made artificial strawberry flavoring). We know these real ingredients mean more cost to the company but they're undeniably better for your customers' health, so this is definitely a step in the right direction! Hopefully other companies follow suit and start using real ingredients in America too (and not just in the same products you make in Europe which often have much cleaner ingredient lists).

I don't know what they've done to it, but it used to be my go-to oatmeal. This new concoction is abysmal. I would rather eat a bowl full of sawdust. I will not be buying this flavor again. I wouldn't feed this slop to a starving dog. I'd rather be poked in the eye than have to endure this god awful abomination for breakfast again.

Strawberry used to be a favorite of mine. Shame on whoever approved this change. It's disgusting now. Oats are too sweet and the strawberries taste nothing like they use to. Super disappointed. Won't be buying again until they bring back the old recipe.

Okay Quaker, what's it going to take to get the original recipe brought back? Honest to god, please tell me! You can keep the new one, but bring the old back too and advertise it. I promise, you'll see which sells more. I see how many other reviewers feel the same way as I do. You have to see it too. So what do I need to do to make this happen? Money?? A petition with X Amount of signatures? Just tell me. I will get it done. I am 35 years old and the strawberries and cream oatmeal is a piece of my childhood that I buy regularly. Literally I use to buy a box a week. Then “the change” came and after buying 3-4 boxes I finally figured out it was something you guys actually choose to do instead of a bad shipment my local store had. Since I've been on a search to find a “generic” brand that tastes like the original. I've tried probably 15 different brands… The closest I've come is the Hy-Vee stores generic strawberrries and cream. It's pretty close to your original and usually will work to satisfy the craving but of course it's not your original so it doesn't satisfy the way you're always had. And then, to make it worse, about 12 weeks ago I found out I was pregnant. And with the pregnancy has come two things… 1.) my craving is now not a want but a desperate need. And 2.) the heightened senses that so many get when pregnant, including sense of smell and taste. Unfortunately the heightened senses are making it so the knock off oatmeal I've been trying to get use to is just not cutting it! So PLEASE tell me what to do. I will do it. Help this pregnant mama get what she is craving!!! I'm begging you. PLEASE

Our grocery must have recently made the change to the new recipe a few months ago. My son can tell the difference in this new recipe versus the original. He does not like it and can not stand the new strawberries. I tried switching to the store brand and even theirs has changed to a similar recipe (must be affiliated with Quaker). I don't know what to do with all of the unused packages at this point, he dislikes it so much now when it used to be his favorite breakfast and “go-to” meal.
