Manischewitz, Mix Potato Pancake, 6 Oz

I don't know if it was outdated or what but making pancakes was impossible. The batter just broke up in the pan and it was just a mess. I looked on the box for a date… there are no dates anywhere on the box or inner bag. I will never purchase this product again.

Way too much sodium. They should make a low sodium type.

Mmm good, just like I use to eat in Germany. They are quick and easy to make I love to put sour cream on them!! The price is great too!!

My grandmother used to make these from scratch, till the box brands came along, but I couldn't remember what kind she used. So, we ordered several boxes of this brand and the blue box brand. Of the two, I have to say we found the blue box brand to be the tastier of the two. Be sure to use fresh oil when frying, and remove the pancakes when they are golden brown but before they dry out on the grill.

When I was a child my mother used to make this from raw potatoes. Although this is not as good as my mother's, it is VERY good.
