HORMEL Premium White and Dark Chicken in Water, Shelf Stable, 10 oz Steel Can

I love the ease of the canned chicken!! I will be stocking up on these to keep in the pantry! I was hoping with the white and dark meat mix this would have more flavor than the white chicken breast. Although I didn't taste a difference in the products, overall I love the concept and will continue to buy this product, just maybe not this particular kind.

I bought 2 cans of this product to make a quick casserole on hectic days and didn't have much time to cook. I was happy this product did not have a weird smell upon opening like some brands of canned meat do. The chicken had a good flavor and wasn't very tough. The chicken is bigger pieces and was easy to shred into smaller pieces to be mixed into my noodles and sauce. I love the convenience of having cooked chicken ready for when I need it.

This is a very handy and versatile product that can be used in a casserole, sandwiches, salads, empanadas, chicken soup, noodles and vegetables, etc. I like that there is no salt added, it makes it perfect for a low sodium diet, but allowing to keep the good tasting chicken.

My family and I really like dark meat chicken, so I was excited to try this. The Hormel White and Dark Chicken was flavorful and had good texture, but not necessarily more than the Chicken Breast only version that I tried as well. Overall, it makes a tasty sandwich though, so it's something I would have again.

Hormel White and Dark Chicken is the perfect addition to any dish but I love to add it to my quick cook chicken chili. Super time saver for the busy on the go family. Easy Open can, just drain and you are ready to create your favorite Chicken chili. The large chicken chunks are flaky and taste fresh just like I baked a chicken and pulled the meat myself. Perfect for camping or RV when Baking a whole chicken just isn't an option. A must have for every pantry.
