I want okra not whole okra

Nothing wrong with the bag I bought. Boiled and ate. Nothing better than slimy whole okra. Added 3/4 bag to my soup after boiling.

I had purchased several bags of this okra, and by the time I picked through two (2) bags, I barely had a pint of decent okra left to boil! About 15% of the bag was broken, which will make "boiled" okra slimy. At least 35% of the okra had really bad bites that needed to be cut out. 10-15% was simply too hard, and no amount of boiling would make them edible. (Trust me... I tried!) My only saving grace was the fact that I was also going to saute some cut okra (southern-style), so I was able to save SOME of the broken pieces and a little of the okra that had been bitten real bad.

I love okra but this product will turn you off to this vegetable. It has woody stringy bits thru out its frozen package. I have bought this product several times hoping that the last purchase was just a bad crop. It is consistently bad.
