3M 90559-80025T Folding Ear Muffs

I bought this pair approximately 4 years ago and have kept them in my climate controlled shop since. They have received light wear as it is few and far between that I use them. Today I was preparing to cut rebar with a chop saw and upon retrieving my blue 3M earmuffs, the head band snapped and as a result put a small cut on the top of my scalp. I associate the 3M name with quality but I am not sure how this happened. I am hoping that the company will make this right some how.

I bought three pair of these. I used them all over, I treat all my work items with care. The first one snapped right in half, and in the process snapped my head so hard it cut my scalp. Thinking maybe they would work if I took even more care taking them off. NOPE! The second pair snapped in the same spot. They are not a safe product. 3M, yes, I did just now write you an email. Sorry 3M, with all your great products this one is a dud and needs to be pulled...

bought these earmuffs 3 months ago and they work excellent for blocking out sound but really disappointed that the headband has snapped in the center just putting them on.

These earmuffs were good for a few dozen uses but the headband broke at the center. They saw very light use while mowing the lawn. Not of any use now. I bought it for the name 3M over cheaper products. Disappointed.

Purchased first pair of earmuffs and used them intermentently for almost a year. Headband broke as I was trying to put them on. Thought that was a fluke so I replaced them with the same product. The earmuffs are very comfortable and I wanted to avoid the hassle of using the foam squeeze earplugs. Unfortunately, the headband of second pair also broke. I would not spend the money on this product.
