4 Pack - Sally Hansen Hard as Nails, Hard as Wraps 0.45 oz

Bought to help strengthen my nails which were growing quite sturdy and strong already. Tried it twice (once under polish and once on its own) and ended up chucking it because it completely deteriorated my nails. They became flimsy and cracked and the outer layers of my nails have been peeling off ever since. I have since had to keep them filed very short as any growth immediately cracks and peels away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this but sadly was let down, it took much longer than the 60 seconds stated to dry, did not leave my nails "hard as nails" at all. Once it had dried I could literally scrape it off my nails with minimal effort, not like acrylics at all! The only thing I could say was that my nails were very shiny for the few minutes it was on there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These nail wraps did help to harden my nails but I found it flaked easily and caused my nail varnish to chip. It is fast drying but I will wear it alone going forwards and not under colour nail varnish.

I'm not sure how much it strengthens as I've only used it a week and haven't seen a massive difference but I will keep using it in the hope it does strengthen as my nails are quite brittle. I have noticed they do feel a but harder and do look healthier due to the shine and polished look it gives. It does start to flake after a few days but I've just used it again over the top to freshen up and you can't see where its flaked away underneath which is good. I also love that it's so versatile and can be used as a base coat too.

I have been suffering with weak nails that break very easily and this product has been really helpful. Applied on bare nails or as a base coat it gives my nails a nice shine and after several uses my nails do feel harder than before and I've so far not broken any nails since using it :-)
