Have this attached to a porch....throws ample light....several adjustment positions...I just ordered (3) more.

I bought these lights to add some needed light around our property for security purposes. The only complaint that I would have is that the battery life could be better. I had to replace the batteries on one of the lights (each light uses 4 "D cell" batteries) just about 2 1/2 months after installing the lights.

These are easy to get started. Add 4 batteries (D Alkaline). They are automatic and no switches are needed. I have one on the deck by the back door and one inside. When the light detects motion it is on. Very bright. Goes off after a while, but gives you enough time to turn on other lights or unlock doors. A heavy unit.
